Human face recognition from video stream is a complex mathematical and algorithmic problem. Many companies tried to create finished, ready-to-use solution for search and identification of particular faces in video surveillance systems, but every time recognition efficiency and accuracy were inadmissible.

“Video Internet Technologies” Company’s development, named Overseer FaceCode SDK, is a unique developer complex that allows to create a video surveillance system, where preset profiles of people are identified and tracked automatically.

Currently, the need in face recognition systems is quite high: it is necessary to maintain the security of people in busy places such as airports, railway stations, mass events and concerts. It is impossible to provide collating of such a great number of people with databases of dangerous or undesirable people neither for one operator, nor for a group of operators. Overseer FaceCode SDK can help here: using this system it is possible to develop a product that can provide efficient and, what is more important, quality face recognition in the video stream.

This recognition system does not require high quality image or high-speed video stream. All developers’ efforts were aimed at achieving admissible recognition quality using already existing video surveillance hardware. Currently, this module is undergoing closed testing in several companies that are going to develop commercial products for big business and government structures of several CIS countries.
